Thank You
This shop is ran by one person, Myranda Harper. The “we” I refer to when talking about the store is everyone who has helped me along the way. With this project and life in general.
I have received endless love, support and encouragement for this brand from so many friends, family and strangers. You are a big part of what fuels me to keep up the hard work. Investing in this financially and energetically can be overwhelming at times, so seriously, thank you for your support.
Thank you to all the people who have inspired me greatly. I don’t know where or who I would be without the positive influence you’ve had on my life. You’ve touched my heart differently and this brand is a result of it.
Thank you, God, for putting this project on my heart for 7 years and never letting me lose sight of the goal. Spreading His love and Word through connection with you is heavy on my heart and what makes me most fulfilled and excited about Your Discomfort Zone.
Thank you for being here, not even just on this site, but here on earth. Your world needs your unique light. Remember to spread some love and walk by faith through life’s uncomfortable moments.
The Founder
Hellooo! My name is Myranda Harper and my goal in life and with this community is to spread God's love. When I was 19 years old I started moving every 365 days just for fun. Fun to me is meeting new people, exploring new places and trying new things. I am now 26 years old and have lived in Fort Wayne, Indianapolis, Chattanooga, Atlanta, Austin and currently back in Chattanooga again for a bit.
Moving somewhere random without knowing anyone or anything about the area has helped me create a lifestyle out of discomfort. I have been able to collect 6 years worth of memories, friendships and adventures during this time of adventure and love to share it with others.
The most valuable development I’ve gotten out of this lifestyle is a deeper relationship with God. I have seen and heard Him so much through every experience, situation and decision I’ve made. In each place I’ve lived in, He has taught me something different about love and the importance of it.
